Village Squares Quilters
The Village Squares Quilters quilt show, Quilt Celebration XII,
RESCHEDULED to April 6 and 7, 2013
The Village Square Quilters guild presents a Quilt Celebration every two years at a local venue where members and invited guests
display the versatility and beauty of our members' work.
In addition to the display of quilts, vendors, a boutique of member-made items, and
a raffle quilt made by members is on display. A local charity, chosen as
beneficiary, receives a portion of the proceeds from the raffle quilt.
All remaining proceeds from the raffle quilt are used in our outreach program.
Quilt Celebration XII
will be held on
Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7, 2013
from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM
at JCC of Mid-Westchester

Admission is $8 for all adults and $1 for children under 12.
There will be a scavenger hunt where all participating children win a prize.
A silent auction of VSQ made quilt has been added to the festivities.

We presented the VSQ donation to our 2012 recipient at the December 11, 2012 meeting.
Harley Lewis presented the moneys from the raffle quilt to Jeanne Blum,
Executive Director of the Westchester Coalition for Hungry and Homeless. With many thanks, the check for $1000 was received.
