VSQ CHALLENGE 2008

A SPLASH OF SILVER

SILVER THREADS AMONG THE GOLD.    HI HO SILVER!    LOOK FOR THE SILVER LINE-ING

BY THE LIGHT OF THE SILVERY MOON.   HANS BRINKER AND THE SILVER SKATES.

These are just a few of the many titles that might provide inspiration for our 10th quilt show challenge:
A SPLASH OF SILVER.(big and little splashes accepted)  The silver of course refers to our 25th anniversary.  Your challenge is to create a quilted wall hanging with this theme.  It can be a pictorial representation or a more traditional pattern.  The topic is broad enough to allow lots of room for interpretation, imagination and creativity.  Last year we had 23 entrees.  This year we should have 25 at the very least!

Rules

1. The entry must have three layers and be a quilted wall hanging.

2. Shape: square or rectangle

3. Dimensions: No side longer than 25 inches nor shorter than 10 inches
