Our Wheelchair Bags for Burke Rehabilitation directions,
provided by Mary Anne Ciccotelli, are as follows:

Wheelchair Bag Directions Cut: 1- 24" X 16" piece of fabric for the bag 2- 24" X 3 1/2" pieces of fabric for the handles Step 1 - Handle construction: Press each edged of the long side of the handle 1/4" to WSOF (wrong side of fabric). Step 2 Press handle in half with wrong sides together. (When bring the folded edges together, have one side approx. 1/2" from the edge. This will make sewing the handle together much easier.) Step 3 Sew the folded open edges of the handle together. Repeat for other handle. (Optional - sew down the folded edge of the handle.) Step 4 - Bag construction: Press 1/2" to WSOF along one 24" side of the bag piece. Step 5 Press 1" to WSOF on the same 24" side of bag. This will form the hem at the top of the bag. Step 6 Press the center front line into bag. Step 7 Mark handle placement on the bag as follows: 3" from each edge 2 1/2" from center fold on each side Step 8 Center one end of handle over the mark and insert under hem on bag. Step 9 Repeat step eight for each of the other three ends of the handle. Step 10 Sew bottom edge of the hem on the bag. Step 11 Fold handles up and stitch top edge of hem. Step 12 Fold bag in half and sew side seam and bottom seam. (Optional - zig zag raw edges of seems.) Step 13 Turn bag right-side out and press! Thank you for your help!
